“Joe Biden’s final act as President will go down as the greatest attack on America’s justice system in history,” Budowich wrote on X.
“With the stroke of a pen, he unilaterally shielded a group of political cronies from the scales of justice. This is yet another dangerous and unreversible erosion of American norms.”
The pardons, issued Monday morning just hours before Biden left the White House, included clemency for Gen. Mark Milley, Dr. Anthony Fauci, members of Congress, and staff who participated in the House January 6 Select Committee. Capitol and D.C.
