In his reaction, the commissioner said he will leave no stone unturned as he vowed to treat all members of IPOB as robbers whenever they are arrested by the Police, stating that he has ordered policemen in the state to arrest any IPOB members found with a firearm. The Police boss identified IPOB as one of the major security challenges bedevilling the state, he said is determined to put an end to IPOB
activities in the state. He has also warned parents across the state to caution their wards who are members of a group to stay out of
violence as he is prepared to deal ruthlessly with any person found to be a member in the state. He also explained that he discovered during interactions with stakeholders at the ongoing security meetings across the state that most areas don’t experience violent crimes such as robberies and kidnappings, but suffer from huge IPOB activities, which, he said, had claimed many lives.
