Between Akala’s son and RK1

Published by

Those who are conversant with happenings in Ogbomoso, the home town of  a former Oyo State governor, Adebayo Alao-Akala, must have been wondering about  the connection between a politician and a musician.

It is obvious that relationship between the eldest son of the former governor, Olamiju Alao-Akala, who is the current Local Government Chairman of Ogbomoso North and the popular Fuji musician, Ramon Akanni, (a.k.a RK1), is not for frivolities.

Aside the fact that the duo hail from Ogbomoso, they share bonds that cannot be easily broken. Both personalities became influential in their immediate community, contribution to the social development, empowerment and putting smiles on the faces of the underprivileged in Ogbomoso and its environs.

Both RK1 and LMJ, as they are fondly called, have become household name, as well as toast of many in the town.

A recent development to prove their relationship remains unshakable was the informal visit of the LG boss to the residence of the Ibadan-based musician, as one of the August visitors that converged to celebrate with RK1 on his 50th birthday in Ogbomoso.

It was an atmosphere of fun and thrill when the musician hosted guests and fans in a topnotch treatment.

LMJ ensured to create time out of his busy schedule to identify with his pal, just as he did not leave the venue with taking paparazzi with the celebrant.
