Being ready for marriage

Published by

IN the centuries past, women ran into arms of men for food, clothing and shelter. But in this age, many women are graduates, working in a firm or owning a business.

They need not to run to a man for money or any other thing. If, as a woman, you are still attending to your goals and vision, then a man, your, man comes to you, kneels  down and asks you to marry him, what do you do?

Yes, you’ll get married someday, but do you have to drop your vision that moment and run to into his arms because he is ready for marriage?

Should a woman be ready the very moment her man is ready for marriage?

Come to think of it, she is the one going into the marriage for much work and lot of responsibilities. She nurses her baby  and, to top it all, she experiences pain and distress.

She looks after the home like a good mother, wife and a partner.

If you ask me who should talk of being ready to go into marriage, it should be the woman because it’s like you asking her: Are you ready to have children? Are you ready to go through all this processing of motherhood and wifehood?

Then, if she says yes, fine.
