‘Beauty In The Motherland’ to host 150 beauty industry stakeholders exhibition from October 1

“Beauty In The Motherland’ will host over 150 exhibitors and beauty businesses from the African continent from will from Tuesday, October 1 also marking its second year with over 5000 visitors registered.

With such high demand, the event, sponsored by Fidelity Bank, Eucerin, Lagos State Tourism and Nectar Beauty Hub, will be open to professionals in the beauty industry as well as the general public.

At the ‘Beauty In The Motherland’ creators’ media parley hosted by the organising committee, the Founder/CEO of Nectar Beauty Hub, Beatrice Eneh explained that, “Beauty In The Motherland will bring together incredible talents that need to be showcased and supported to scale even to global markets, but the enabling environment to enable them to thrive has not been created.”

She added that adequate data is required for the industry to thrive.

“She said that “Our beauty industry is not properly explored because there is no structure and inadequate data for the sector to drive growth.”

Eneh encouraged the beauty sector to continue to create products for the local economy so it can shared with the international beauty industry.

She said that, “We have to showcase the Beauty in Africa, Beauty In The Motherland to the world.”

Also in attendance at the press conference, the Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Toke Benson-Awoyinka who was happy about the upcoming event, said she appreciated the beauty industry and would continue to support its development for a long time to come.

‘Beauty in the Motherland’ will begin on Tuesday, October 1 to October 3, at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos.
