Published by

The Director of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Southwest Area Office, Mrs Olubukola Oluwaremilekun Abiodun, has urged corps members to be a source of blessing to Nigeria. Speaking to 2024 Batch ‘B’ (Stream 1) corps members deployed to Ondo State, she emphasized the importance of obeying rules and regulations, staying focused, and contributing meaningfully to the development of the country.

Abiodun warned against reckless traveling, encouraged respect for host communities, and emphasized the importance of unity and togetherness. She also encouraged corps members to embrace the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) program, which will make them employers of labor and financially protected.

The State Coordinator, Mr. Sam Amaramiro Pepple, enumerated measures put in place to combat cholera outbreak and appreciated the corps members and officials for their understanding during a recent generator breakdown.

The Director commended the State Coordinator and his team for maintaining discipline and doled out cash gifts to outstanding corps members.
