Be good ambassadors of Nigeria, minister tasks youths

Published by

THE Minister of State for Science and Technology, Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi, has called on Nigerian youths to be good ambassadors of the country by supporting Federal Government’s policies.

He made the call when he received a delegation of the National Youths Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Nasarawa State chapter, in his office in Abuja.

Abdullahi further urged them to use themselves as platform for the propagation of government’s agenda.

The minister implored them to exhibit unity and cooperation among themselves, saying by doing so, the sky is their starting point.

According to him: “No country, in spite of its capacity for science and technology, can excel if there is no peace in the land.

“There is need for youths to partner with the Federal Government to ensure that there is peace in the country.”

Earlier, the council’s president, Comrade Idris Ojoko, said the Adamawa State NYCN had been dysfunctional until his intervention.
