BBNaija All Stars housemate Pere has offered insight into the reasons behind his contemplation of a voluntary exit from the show, subsequent to his heated clash with Adekunle.
As a refresher, the altercation unfolded during the Head of House (HOH) games, where Pere and Adekunle became embroiled in a dispute.
Pere had accused Adekunle of engaging in unfair play, thereby sparking tension between them.
In a candid diary session with Biggie, Pere disclosed that the incident that nearly drove him to consider leaving the competition revolved around a moment during the HOH games.
Specifically, Pere recounted how Adekunle allegedly gave him a small shove while they were engaged in the task, prompting Pere to reflect on the severity of the situation and his position within the game.
He said: “I was angry, and it made me feel the entire house was against him. I won’t let them win. The Pepper Dem faction and others didn’t want me to be HOH.”
“They’re scared. It’s like they enjoy the chaos and disorderliness, and they know that I’ll bring all that to a halt.
I almost left yesterday. It took so much control to restrain me from doing something that’ll jeopardise my stay here.”
