BBNaija S9: I approached my boyfriend Zion — Chinwe

The first pair of housemates introduced in Big Brother Naija Season 9, Chinwe and Zion, have revealed they are in a relationship.

Known as the ZinWe pair, they disclosed during the launch event on Sunday that they have been dating for five months.

Chinwe shared that she was the one who initiated the relationship by approaching Zion. “I moved to him [Zion], and I sat down and exchanged contacts. The rest is history,” she said.

Discussing the competition, Chinwe emphasised the importance of being cautious and not blindly trusting others, stating, “You’re going into a competition; you don’t just go in blind, trusting people. They have to prove themselves.”

Zion expressed his happiness about entering the house with Chinwe, stating, “I’m happy I’m going in with my baby here. I trust her.”
