Apart from education, moral etiquette, virtues training and faith embracing, our kids necessarily need to be entertained periodically, not only by attending exotic parties or visiting friends for socialisation, but by taking a trip to child’s friendly tourism, cultural and entertainment arena where they will not only be thrilled but also exposed to standard world class facilities.

Many of you will agree with this, but the question is ‘where on earth can we access this facility other than outside Nigeria which will necessitate the buying of ticket, obtaining visa and fulfilling other seemingly cumbersome travel formalities despite the chunk of money it will entail?”

The blame certainly is not in us. But in our belief that such a near perfect arena which get the stamp of over reaching the international benchmark of standards especially where the kids can have personal interaction with supersonic facilities are not available or could not be available in Nigeria!

As against our crude perception and thinking, Nigeria is harbouring one of the very few utmost best colonies of world class entertainment amusement resort hosting facilities could only be found in Nigeria!

High Impact Planet Amusement Park located on kilometre 20 Lagos – Ibadan expressway (Ibadan outbound) opposite Mountain Top University, Lagos is it!

Opened to the public in December, 2015, the attractions in the park include indoor and outdoor as well as wet and dry facilities such as jump around bumper cars, bumber boats; Convoy; Kite flyer 12; Haunted House; King of the Jungle; the Jungle; Vertical Swing and Spring ride, Big Buck Panorama, Aliens Armageddon; Transformers Deluxe; Packman Smash; Combat Pump It up Fiesta, a surfing simulated reestyler, hoopla, Mexican fiesta, Samba balloon, dream machine, watermania, Rio train, Boeing 777 outperforming ride, ice rink, animatronics, including semi-live lions, gorillas. Enterprise ride, souvenir court, eye-combat games, 40-metre high spring ride, ferry spin, Mexican theatre, a 10-seater Hi-Impact airplane. The park occupies an area of about 46 acres. Other facilities in the park include a clinic, banking services, luxurious hotel, food courts, and a multi-purpose hall of about 7000 capacity and sanitary amenities, 5-D cartoon animation studio and imax cinema.

Ultimately, only one of the few best in the world could host such a monstrous array of facilities listed above.

Bisola Aiyeola, one of the stars of the just concluded world mega entertainment programme, Big Brother Naija, sherpa by MultiChoice, could not hide her feeling about this facility in Nigeria when she globally not only attested to the primly nature of this park, but related in about seven minutes her personal experience at High Impact Planet to the world.

She described the place as “an awesome place for kids and family relaxation”.

Bisiola revealed the world the excellent facilities, world class standard in terms of space, conveniences, security, public relation ethics, space configuration, safety and medical options, and the availability of exotic chalets.

She said it was an experience which she would not only have again but a point of reference of Nigeria hosting the best and sustaining the best.

According to Prince Adeyanju Lipede, President, and High Impact Planet “We are happy to have got an endorsement and a testimony of what we have here in Ogun State. We are also happy about that unsolicited hyping done for us by a private person who had a firsthand experience of what we put here without talking to us, but through her own observation of the planet, interaction with the personnel on ground and personal experience of the services we offer.”

He revealed that “Our mission is to relieve Nigerians from emotional and financial burdens of taking their families out of Nigeria to visit less standard park. Here in Nigeria, we have on ground what Bisola described as an awesome world class family Amusement Park with some latest facilities which can only be found here.”

Victoria Odimba, the park’s Marketing Officer said “Since inauguration in 2015, it has been appositive reaction from Nigerians who do not only appreciate the facilities here, but also applaud the pocket-friendly packages and price. It is a testimony that Nigerians love standards, cherish quality and appreciate good services”.

She revealed “The Easter period was one of our finest moments. Our efforts at creating a festive ambiance pre–Easter period by organising a road show from Lekki down here , by creating attention at the lay by along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, all culminated to a memorable Easter period for patrons and us”

Miss Odimba espoused “We are not resting on our oars. In fact, it will interest you to know that parents, may be impressed by their children were drumming it unto our ears by feedback mechanism that, we should make all holiday swell by organising bigger theme than the Easter period.”

And it is in line with this public and parents’ demand, that High Impact Planet, according to Odimba, has concluded to host families to special programmes for Workers Day, May 1 and part of these include jugglers, clowns, club night, DJs, picnics, with freebies for guests, while Children will have a field day on Children’s Day, May 27. And for the summer or long holiday period, Hi-Impact will host school children to a sequential array of programmes which include dancing lesson, counselling, seminars and other fun activities that are geared at making a responsible and impactful children of the world.

“Yes, we are set to boost the imagination of visiting families to this arena on May 1, which is Workers ‘Day and May 27 which is Children’s Day. I assure, you will have another series of impactful stories of bountiful entertainment galore as will be choreographed by High Impact Planet on these two day,” Odimba assures.
