Bauchi: Reps member flags off distribution of Ramadan packages to constituents

Not fewer than 10,000 constituents of Toro Federal Constituency of Bauchi State have benefited from the distribution of Ramadan packages worth over ₦200 million by the Member representing the Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ismaila Haruna Dabo.

The Member flagged off the distribution of the packages to the beneficiaries to alleviate the economic hardship faced by his Constituents during the holy month of Ramadan.

The flag-off ceremony took place in the presence of Toro Local Government APC leaders, led by Barr. Bala Y. Umar, as a testament to Hon. Dabo’s commitment to the welfare of his constituents.

The Ramadan packages are expected to provide relief to the beneficiaries and their families.

Prior to the distribution of the Ramadan packages, Hon. Dabo commissioned two important projects in Ribina and Gayawa communities, including six blocks of classrooms and a solar-powered borehole that are expected to improve the educational and healthcare infrastructure in the communities.

The commissioning of the projects was a significant milestone in Hon. Dabo’s efforts to develop Toro Federal Constituency as the projects are expected to have a positive impact on the lives of the constituents, particularly the youth and vulnerable populations.

Sarkin Ribina, speaking on behalf of the Ribina community, commended Hon. Dabo for his efforts and described him as the best representative the community has had since the return of democracy in 1999.

In addition to the completed projects, many others are ongoing, with a few others completed and waiting for commissioning.
