Bauchi Rep presents legislative compendium to constituents, calls for feedback

The Member of the House of Representatives representing Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State on Sunday presented a compendium of 45 legislative bills he has sponsored since his election to the National Assembly.

The presentation was also made to the three District Heads of Ganjuwa (Madakin Bauchi), Darazo, and Sade for review by the traditional rulers in the Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency.

In attendance at the meeting were the PDP local government party chairmen of Darazo and Ganjuwa, along with other notable stakeholders.

Mansur Manu Soro stated, “The presentation of the compendium was in line with my resolve to ensure participatory stakeholding and sustained constituent engagement in our representation at the 10th National Assembly.”

The federal lawmaker emphasized, “I wish to call on my dear constituents of Darazo/Ganjuwa, stakeholders, and state and national leaders from all strata to kindly provide feedback on the series of proposed legislations.”

The compendium comprised 38 constitutional alteration bills and 12 non-constitutional bills (Acts of the National Assembly) aimed at promoting the growth and development of the area, the state, and the country at large.

The traditional rulers, who took turns speaking, commended Mansur Manu Soro for his impactful representation, emphasizing that the area has witnessed tremendous transformation since he began his tenure.

They particularly praised his efforts to ensure children received quality education through the gifted schools he established, as well as the improvements in healthcare service delivery across the area.
