Alhaji Kabiru Yusuf AKY, Makaman Duguri, the Member representing Alkaleri-Kirfi Federal Constituency of Bauchi State, has distributed food items worth over N300 million to Muslims in his constituency as Ramadan palliatives.
Speaking during the distribution exercise on Monday, Alhaji Kabiru Yusuf stated that the gesture was aimed at reducing the hardship faced by people, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
Kabiru Yusuf Makama explained that the beneficiaries of the food items included APC party executives from the two local government areas down to the ward levels, members of the AKY Makama structure, stakeholders from Alkaleri-Kirfi Federal Constituency, opposition parties, women and youth groups, as well as selected individuals from the two local governments.

According to him, in addition to the food items, N2 million was earlier distributed to party executives and stakeholders in his constituency as a Ramadan gift.
AKY Makama added that after the Sallah holidays, a massive empowerment program would be launched for the people of his constituency, where beneficiaries would receive cash, vehicles, motorcycles, tricycles, and other economic tools.
On his part, the Chairman of APC Stakeholders in Alkaleri LGA, Alhaji Adamu Umar Gokaru, highlighted some of the federal lawmaker’s achievements, including the distribution of fertilizer and other agricultural inputs.
