This operation occurred following a joint effort involving the police, JTF, and local hunters in Toro LGA, Tilden Fulani Division. The operation led to a gunfight with the kidnappers, who eventually fled, leaving behind their victims unharmed.

The rescued individuals received medical attention at Toro General Hospital, and investigations are ongoing to track down the fleeing suspects.

The police also reported on a kidnapping incident in Bayara village, where a victim was abducted and later found dead with a gunshot wound to the head. Investigations are underway to bring the perpetrators to justice.

In another operation, the police intercepted a stolen Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) bus, apprehending suspects who were attempting to flee the state with the vehicle. The vehicle had been stolen from a driver who was later rescued by the police.
