Bauchi Journalists commended for positive reporting of govt activities

As the PDP led administration in Bauchi State clocked the first 100 days in office, Journalists in the state have been commended for what is described as  positive propagation of the Governor’s activities so far just as they have been called upon for the  sustenance of same as the administration would cooperate with them to discharge their responsibilities diligently.
The commendation was made by Senior Special Assistant to Bauchi State Governor on Media, Comrade Muktar Gidado who said that the Governor is working assiduously towards fulfilling all his campaign promises to the people of the state before the expiration of the four-year tenure of the administration.
Muktar Gidado made the remarks while commenting on his Principal’s agenda for the state which is aimed at restoring its lost glory.
The Senior Special Assistant said that already, the administration led by Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has responded to the yearnings and aspirations of the citizens of the state through the award of various development projects in the Heath, Education, Agriculture, infrastructure and Youth and Women Empowerment sectors in the last 100 days.
According to him, the administration has made significant progress in reducing some of the challenges facing health and education sectors while efforts are on top gear to look into other sectors which need urgent intervention.
He enumerated some of the efforts of the Governor in the last 100 days in office to include the provision of qualitative healthcare services, distribution of ambulances and other facilities to selected health centres across the state.
The Media aide noted that the launching of a special sanitation exercise by the Governor was part of his administration’s readiness to address environmental challenges facing the state due to non-evacuation of drainages and culverts over the years thereby causing flooding.
Muktar Gidado also said that in order to ensure effective implementation of the policies and programmes initiated, his Principal has extended his partnership with both National and International organizations in order to assist him to deliver his mandate to the people of the state.
The Senior Special Assistant who reaffirmed the determination of the Governor to consider and accommodate constructive criticisms for effective delivery of his mandate appealed to the citizens to renew their support to him to ensure the success of his administration.
