A solidarity movement supporting Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi’s aspiration for the Bauchi State governorship race, tagged “Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi Vanguard 2027” (SAAN 27), has declared its endorsement of the Senator representing Bauchi Central.
The movement was officially launched in Bauchi on Tuesday during a press conference held at the Conference Hall of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Secretariat, Bauchi.
Addressing the conference, Comr. Sani Adamu, Chairman of SAAN 27, stated, “The movement was born after careful examination and extensive consultations with relevant stakeholders, thousands of youths across the 20 local government areas of Bauchi State, communities, and some volunteer non-governmental organizations in Bauchi State.”
He emphasized, “We unequivocally declare our interest in supporting Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi as the next Governor of Bauchi State in the upcoming 2027 General Election.”

Adamu continued, “We can confidently state, with all modesty, that we have recorded outstanding success in Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi’s leadership, particularly concerning youth and nation-building.”
“The academic and leadership successes of Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi are not only a credit to him but also to all Nigerian youths, students, and society, irrespective of religious, ethical, or any other status. In the words of the famous scholar Martin Luther King Jr., ‘The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy,'” he added.
Adamu also highlighted, “Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi exemplifies greatness in every aspect of leadership. Today, we gather for this significant world press conference to endorse Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi for the 2027 Bauchi State Governorship Election.”
He further stated, “SAAN 27 vows to provide its solidarity to mobilize, campaign, and canvass votes towards Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi’s victory in the 2027 Bauchi State Governorship Election.”
“We firmly place our confidence in him as a courageous, zealous, charismatic, simple, intelligent, and principled leader who fights corruption in all its forms, making him a leader worthy of emulation,” Adamu stressed.
He concluded, “Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi has provided youth with opportunities to grow, achieve, and excel, underpinned by trust and confidence. He should always remember that helping people succeed is one of his greatest legacies and virtues as a great leader.”
