The Bauchi State Infrastructure Development and Maintenance Agency (BASIDMA) has launched the “0 Faults Hold” initiative to revamp roads across the state. The program aims to ensure that all roads in the state are free from faults and potholes, providing a safe and comfortable driving experience for citizens.
The initiative began with the repair of Yaya Abubakar Road in Fadamar Mada, Bauchi Metropolis, which had been neglected for over 20 years. The Director-General of BASIDMA, Engr. Abdulrahman Abdullahi Mai’auduga, stated that the agency would reach all affected roads in the state metropolis and outside.
The launch of the initiative is a result of directives from the State Governor, Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, who is committed to improving the state’s infrastructure. Residents, including ice block seller Usman Auwal Saraki, have appreciated the governor’s efforts, thanking him for taking the major step of rehabilitating roads.
The “0 Faults Hold” initiative is seen as a significant step towards improving the state’s infrastructure and providing a better living standard for residents. The governor’s administration is committed to addressing infrastructure gaps and promoting inclusive growth.
