Bauchi govt announces Sunday, Monday as resumption dates for third term

Bauchi State Commissioner, Ministry of Education, Dr Jamila Dahiru has reminded parents and guardians that the resumption date for the Third -term of the 2023/2024 Academic Session is Sunday, 14th, April 2024, for boarding schools and 15th April 2024, for Day schools respectively.

Jamila Dahiru therefore advised all parents/guardians to ensure that students and pupils resumed back to school promptly to ensure a smooth academic session.

The Commissioner also wished all students in the state a successful academic session.

In same vein, the Ministry has announced that there will be JAMB MOCK CBT Training for Senior Secondary School Students across the State.

The Ministry therefore drew the attention of all Principals of Public Senior Secondary Schools and the general public in the State to the development.

According to the Ministry, the State Government, under the visionary leadership of the Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed, is to sponsor the JAMB MOCK CBT training for all students who passed the mock examination.

The initiative aims to equip the benefitting students with essential computer skills and knowledge before the main JAMB examination.

The Training details are from 15th to 17th April 2024 between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm daily at designated centres conveniently located across the state

The Principals are requested to promptly communicate the information to their students as per the attached copy of the examination date, venue details, and local government contact numbers for any further information or inquiries.

The Ministry stressed that Governor Bala Mohammed’s dedication to uplifting the educational standards in Bauchi State is commendable, and initiatives like the sponsored JAMB MOCK CBT training reflect his unwavering commitment to empowering the Youths through education.

It therefore urged parents and students to leverage on the development to get well equipped for the examination as contained in a statement by Jalaludeen Usman, Information Officer, Ministry of Education.
