Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, has commended his Rivers State counterpart, Governor Siminalayi Fubara, for his sincerity, humility, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people.
Governor Bala Mohammed made the remarks in Port Harcourt on Saturday during an official visit to Rivers State, where he commissioned several projects.
Posting on his X page (formerly Twitter), Governor Mohammed wrote, “Earlier today, I had the privilege of joining the good people of Rivers State to commission the Umuakali-Eberi Roads, a significant project that underscores the remarkable leadership of my brother, Governor Siminalayi Fubara, @SimFubaraKSC.”
He added, “Rivers State, being a cradle of modern politics in Nigeria, has consistently set a high standard, and Governor Fubara has upheld this legacy with integrity and purpose.”
The Bauchi governor praised Governor Fubara for his sincerity, humility, and dedication to improving the lives of Rivers State residents. He highlighted Fubara’s leadership style as “a shining example of simplicity, transparency, and respect for all—whether elders, youth, or traditional authorities.”
According to Mohammed, “It is rare to find a leader who unites all segments of society with such grace and fairness, and Governor Fubara has distinguished himself in this regard.”
Speaking about the project, he noted, “The commissioning of this road project is a testament to Governor Fubara’s achievements and his unwavering commitment to development.”
Governor Mohammed concluded by saying, “It was an honour to celebrate this milestone with him and the people of Rivers State, and I left inspired by the hope and determination that characterise their vision for the future.”
