Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has donated ₦50 million to support the humanitarian efforts of Olori Temitope Morenikeji Adesegun Ogunwusi, the wife of the Ooni of Ife.
The donation was made during Olori Temitope’s courtesy visit to the Governor at the Government House in Bauchi.
The funds will support the Hope Alive Initiative, a foundation affiliated with the Ooni of Ife, which focuses on providing aid to disadvantaged children.
Governor Mohammed praised Olori Temitope’s commitment to philanthropy and community development, and urged traditional institutions across the country to emulate her humanitarian efforts.
Olori Temitope commended Governor Mohammed’s administration for its people-oriented programmes and policies, which have positively impacted the lives of Bauchi State residents.
The collaboration between Governor Mohammed and Olori Temitope is aimed at promoting child welfare and social support, particularly during the upcoming Valentine’s Day celebration.
