Bauchi gets International centre to boost economic growth

The proprietor of the newly constructed and opened Multipurpose Events Center in Bauchi, Salisu Zakari Ninigi has explained that the centre was initiated in a determination to enable him to contribute to the economic development of the state in addition to providing job opportunities to teeming unemployed youths in the state.

Zakari Adamu Ningi who represented Ningi/Warji at the House Representatives in the last 8th National Assembly said that already 79 youth have been engaged by his organisation while additional 42 youth would soon be engaged to complement the efforts of the PDP led administration of Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir aimed at reducing the unemployment rate in the state.

Salisu Zakari Ninigi who was speaking during the official opening ceremony of the Centre on Saturday noted that the Centre is working with some international investors with a view to investing about 30 million US dollars in the state to boost its economic potentials.

He assured that very soon the international partners will arrive at the state to commence businesses in various sectors of economic development stressing that feasibility studies have been completed.

The politician turned businessman while commending the Bala Mohammed led PDP administration for what it has been able to do within the last 100 days expressed optimism that by the end of the 4 years tenure of the administration, people of the state will appreciate that they voted rightly.

While commissioning the Center, Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed said that his administration is working tirelessly towards providing job opportunities to every unemployed youth in the state.

The Governor described the Double 4 International Conference Center located opposite Bauchi Club, GRA Bauchi as the best thing to have happened to the economic drive of the state as planned by the PDP.

Bala Mohammed also said that to achieve the economic development and growth of the state, the present administration would provide an enabling environment for business activities to thrive across the state.

He said that the administration would also work with relevant stakeholders to revive industries in the state as part of measures to ensure the engagement of youths into useful ventures in order to enable them to become useful members of the society.

The Governor who applauded the proprietor of the Center, Alhaji Salisu Zakari Ninigi for coming up with the initiative, observed that it will go along way at reducing unemployment in the state and called on others to emulate the move.
