Bauchi State Governor, Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar
BAUCHI State Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar has declared tomorrow Thursday, April 26th, 2018 a public holiday ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s two-day Presidential visit to the state.
A press statement signed by the Special Adviser, Media and Public Affairs, Ali Mohammed Ali contained that the holiday is declared to enable all and sundry to give the August visitor a rousing reception tomorrow.
The release added that while in Bauchi, the President is expected to commission some projects especially roads and flag off the distribution of the 500 tractors procured to farmers in the state.

Earlier in a statewide broadcast to the state, the Governor had enjoined the people of the state to come out en masse to receive the President who is expected to arrive the state Thursday morning.
