The Commissioner of Police, Bauchi State Police Command, CP Auwal Musa Mohammed, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, decorated 92 newly promoted officers with their new ranks at the State Headquarters, Yandoka Road, Bauchi.
Among the promoted officers is the Command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, who was decorated with the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) by the Governor of Bauchi State, Sen. Abdulkadir Bala Mohammed assisted by CP Auwal Musa Mohammed at the State House, Bauchi.
Other beneficiaries for the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) include SP Mohammed Goni, Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Soro, and SP David Silas Officer in-charge of Works Department of the Command.
In same veins, the beneficiaries for the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) include the DSP Amiru Garba Ahmed, Officer in charge of Gender section, the Staff Officer, Inspectorate (SOI), DSP Golda Wubatwe Fittoka, and Staff Officer for Junior Matters (SOJ) DSP Umar Mukhtar, among others.
Additionally, the beneficiaries of the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) include the ag Admin Officer in the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) ASP Idriss Kumo, and the Staff Officer in the Department of Operations, ASP Abdussalam Suleiman, among others.
While congratulating the officers, the CP charged them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, dedication, integrity, and transparency in the course of their duties.
