Bauchi basic education teachers urged to rededicate to duties

Basic Education Schools Teachers in Bauchi state have been urged to rededicate themselves to duties by imparting quality knowledge to pupils.

They are also urged to ensure that they do everything possible to safeguard government properties and resources in their various schools.

The call was made by the Executive Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Alh. Adamu Muhammad Duguri, during an educational visit to his office by pupils of Jahun One Primary School, Bauchi.

The SUBEB EC also encouraged the pupils to focus on their studies, emphasizing the importance of education in becoming future leaders.

He also praised the Head Teacher for effectively managing the school as demonstrated by the composure and agility of the pupils during the visit.

Adamu Duguri, further urged the Teachers to demonstrate a strong work ethic and protect government-provided resources in their schools in order to promote the Basic Education subsector.

He also emphasized the importance of dedication to studies for future leadership reminding the pupils that they are indeed future leaders if they are serious with their studies.

Earlier, the Head Teacher of the School told the SUBEB EC that they were in the headquarters on an educational visit to show the pupils how school affairs are being managed.

The Head Teacher commended the SUBEB Executive Chairman for paying attention to the provision of conducive environment for effective teaching and learning.

The pupils were later conducted round the SUBEB headquarters and were told how administrative functions are implemented.
