Bariga rises for Olamide in ‘Wo’ video shoot

Published by

The self acclaimed voice of the street and Nigerian Rapper, Olamide, after successfully dropping his latest hit, ‘Wo’ with a dance competition which had huge impact online with thousands of fans engaged in a dance-off and some winning million-naira cash rewards, decided to return to the area he grew up in, Bariga (a suburb in Lagos) to shoot the video for the song.

The shoot saw a massive gathering of residents who trooped out to catch a glimpse of their favorite artiste, which further proved that Olamide was indeed a ‘boy from the streets’.

Many took to the streets chanting ‘Olamide Baddo’ (not the dreaded baddo gang) and took turns dancing to the rappers songs which blared from speakers. Olamide also took time to mingle with the assembled crowd who waited for hours to witness the shoot and also distributed food and ‘Wo’ branded shirts.
