‘Bandits will remove two northern govs from office’ – Primate Ayodele

The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has warned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the national security adviser, Nuhu Ribadu to tackle the issue of insecurity in Nigeria to avoid a situation where governors will be removed from office.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele warned that the bandits are bent on making the present government unbearable and part of their plans is to take over government houses especially in the northern part of the country.

He explained that there are people behind the insecurity, and if it is not dealt with immediately, a more disastrous situation will come. He called on the NSA to treat with urgency the plans to curb insecurity in the northern part of the country.

“Some governors need to be very careful so they won’t be sacked from office by these insurgents. The governors of Borno, Professor Babagana Zulum, and Benue, Hyacinth Alia, must take this insecurity thing seriously so that their offices will not be taken over by these daredevils.

“I am warning Nuhu Ribadu and President Tinubu to quickly deal with the insecurity issues, especially in the north. There are people behind it to frustrate the president, and they want to fight without mercy. Let’s be careful so that insurgents will not sack any governor.”

Furthermore, the cleric reiterated the need to pray against the situation he foresees, while revealing that the insecurity will spread to other parts of the country, including Abuja, Kaduna, and others.

“They will terrorise them, and we need to pray so we don’t see a situation of these governors and some in the north vacating their offices. This will also spread to Abuja, Kaduna, Yobe, and Nasarawa, We must be very careful,” he added.
