Bandits have stolen food and drinks from a man riding a motorcycle in the Gidan Abe community, located in the Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
A community leader confirmed the incident to our reporter on Monday.
He stated that the event occurred on Saturday around 5:23 PM when the man was on his way to Gidan Abe village after purchasing a bag of rice, drinks, and condiments for Christmas at Katari.
A group of bandits on motorcycles blocked his path and seized the items.

According to the community leader, the bandits fled the scene with the food items but did not harm or abduct the victim.
“Just this morning, I received information in Katari village, where I had gone to see someone, that some bandits on motorcycles snatched foodstuffs from a man who was heading to Gidan Abe village for Christmas,” he said.
