THE Governor of Sokoto State, Rt. Honourable Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has commiserated with the People of Rabbah Local Government where not less than sixteen people were killed on Monday.
The Governor disclosed this while addressing Journalist during a State broadcast in his office on Tuesday, saying bandits attacked three communities in the Local Government.

According to him, ” I wish to commiserate with the people of Rabbah Local Government and indeed the entire people of Sokoto State on the loss of our brethren to another bandits attack in Dalijan, Rakkoni and Kalhu communities on Monday night.
“This sad development once again makes it necessary to call on our security personnel to rededicate themselves to their more critical duty of defending the lives and property of our people.
“They should avoid being distracted from their constitutional role by unscrupulous politicians, who seek power at the cost of lives of the people” he explained.
The Governor further prayed for them to Allah to forgive the deceased and grant their families as well as the people of the State the fortitude to bear the loss.
