DETERMINED to improve and boost healthcare delivery service in state, Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir has joined his counterparts from Borno, Gombe and Lagos States as well as President of the Dangote Group Foundation, Alhaji Aliko Dangote to visit the United States of America to meet with Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for a round table discussion on intervention on Health Care Delivery in their respective states.
A statement issued by the Media aide to the Governor, Muktar Gidado, contained that the Governor was slated to push for more intervention to support the state’s Primary Health Care to address health concerns in the state.

The Governor according to Muktar Gidado, was determined to attract more interventions to the state especially in the area of health.
The statement recalled that the Bauchi State Government has already paid the sum of N200 million counter fund out of the N339 million budgeted for the 2019 State Basket Fund contribution for Primary Health Care State Immunisation Policy.
Top government officials on the delegation of the Governor include Hon Yunusa Ahmed Warji, member of the Bauchi State House of Assembly and Dr Rilwanu Mohammed, Executive Chairman, State primary Health Care Development Agency.
