Bad eggs in APC are PDP defectors, Edo APC reps member says

A member of the House of Representatives, Mr Johnson Agbonayinma has accused fraudulent members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC) of bad intent.

Agbonayinma (Ikpoba Okha/Egor) who defected from the PDP to the APC is currently seeking a second term under the flag of his new found party.

The lawmaker who spoke in n Benin yesterday charged that the bad eggs in the APC were PDP elements who joined the party with the intention of rubbishing the anti-graft campaign of President Muhammadu Buhari.

He said: “There are bad eggs in APC are composed of PDP members who defected but they will fail. Those who wished Buhari dead have seen that the man is waxing stronger. God gave him a second chance for a special purpose to take Nigeria to the next level.”

On the travails of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Ononghen, Agbonayinma faulted the stand by the main opposition party which heavily criticize Buhari for suspending the Chief Justice, noting that the PDP only cry of due process when it involves corruption cases.

He said: “The problem is about fighting corrupt people. The PDP only talks of due process when it involves fighting corruption. When armed robbers and looters take over the treasury, nobody talks of due process. PDP should proffer a solution on how to fight corruption since fighting corruption had turned out to be a crime by PDP.”
