Babanwaka speaks on album success

Islamic singer, El-hadj Wasiu Sideeq, popularly known as Babanwaka has opened up on  the success of his last album, Oro Mefa, which, according to him, has opended windows  of opportunities for him within and outside the country.

The five-track album, which was released some months back under his record label, As  Sideeq Media Plus, has enjoyed massive airplay in the country and some parts of  Europe with Babanwaka also hinting that he hoped to keep building on the success of  the album to put his career on the roadmap.

The singer, who confirmed that expectations from the new work were high, stated that  he had to work harder to ensure that his fans were not disappointed, adding that it  was even more challenging because it was the first time he would produce an album  himself.

With tracks like Career Woman, Konipe, Ore Mefa, Itoju Obi and Alujo Dhikr,  Babanwaka in a brief interview with R, hinted that he was planning to shoot the  visuals to the album even as urged his fans, who have been asking for the video, to  exercise patience.
