Veteran gospel musician, Pastor Joseph Adelakun, also known as Baba Ayewa, will be hosting the authorities of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) and dignitaries from all walks of life at the ceremony where he will be handing over his church property to the church.
The weeklong celebration will also include honouring the music legend’s retirement as a cleric in CAC.
Tribune Church News reported that the one-week programme would start with an open-air crusade from October 14 to 17 at Baba Ayewa’s church in Akute, Ogun State. The event will feature the General Evangelist of CAC, Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji.
A free medical outreach and a visit to an orphanage home will hold on October 18, while the Amona crooner will be celebrated at an event tagged, “Retirement Banquet”, in Lagos. The programmes will end with a thanksgiving service on October 20.
