Felix Duyilemi, an award-winning author of “How to Borrow God’s Brain to Succeed,” has explained why his new book, “48 Laws of Wisdom,” is worth the excitement.
He explained that for a long time, ‘The 48 Laws of Power’ has been one of the all-time bestsellers, captivating politicians, business owners, and individuals seeking power.
Many are drawn to it because the book presents strategies rooted in a scarcity mentality and a “win-lose” approach, which often stems from the manipulation of power dynamics.
Some of the laws, like “Law 1: Never Outshine the Master” and “Law 33: Discover Each Man’s Thumbscrew,” promote tactics based on self-interest and calculated control over others.
Politicians often use this book to feign loyalty and outsmart their superiors, while businessowners may exploit it to manipulate their staff for personal gain.
Ultimately, the book is driven by a deep understanding of human nature—particularly selfish desires and the pursuit of dominance.
“However,” according to him, “we are already seeing the consequences of such ideologies in leadership, governance, and business across the globe.
“The fallout from applying these principles can be seen in corrupted systems, broken relationships, and short-term success that lacks sustainability.
“As I thought on the lessons of The 48 Laws of Power, I realised that there is a need for a more balanced approach—one grounded in wisdom, not just power.
“I often thought someone should write a counterpart to the book, one that follows godly principles to not only achieve success but to maintain it with integrity and grace.
“Then, I asked myself, “Why not write this book?” And so I did!
“My book, The 48 Laws of Wisdom, draws on timeless biblical principles designed to help build a lasting legacy of success.
“After all, as Law 48 of the 48 Laws of Power states, “Assume Formlessness,” implying that without wisdom, power cannot be sustained.
“True power, when combined with wisdom, transforms lives rather than destroy them.”
He said, “48 Laws of Wisdom,” available on Amazon and Selar, is a must-read because “it’s not just a path to success, but a guide to sustaining it with true purpose and wisdom.”
