The Decross Mission Church in Lagos a few weeks ago wore the best of looks in gratitude, blessings, thanksgiving and many more, as juju and gospel music maestro, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi, celebrated his 82nd birthday.
In attendance were the members of the Authentic Queen Ladies Clubs of Nigeria founded by Queen Sayidat Bunmi Ajibade-Hassan popularly known as Mama Miliki who were on hand to celebrate with the octogenarian.
The group comprises of beautiful, successful women who are doing well in their various sectors. The celebrant, Evangelist Obey-Fabiyi stands as their spiritual father.
“We appreciate his prayers and counsel,” Queen Sayidat Bunmi Ajibade-Hassan, president of the group, said. The group, in glowing tributes to Evangelist Fabiyi lauded his impact and character.
Hon. Agunbiade Mulikat Adejumoke, the coordinator, who spoke on behalf of the group said “Baba Obey’s life is a testament of faith and nurturing us in the ways of the Lord. We are grateful for his guidance and strong parental presence in our lives.”
The group presented a special gift to the celebrant on behalf of the founder, Queen Sayidat Bunmi Ajibade-Hassan. The celebration was well-attended and featured performances by various gospel artistes.
