The show which was its 30th was witnessed for the very first time by a wife of a sitting governor , Mrs Ibikunle Amosun , Senator Dr Lanre Tejuoso , Ambassador of Republic of Benin and other eminent and distinguished Nigerians paraded 30 wonderfully beautifully bevy of ladies from 30 states of Nigeria.
The show was blazed forth by the eclectic and supersonic performance of Lady Ekwe of the Atunda entertainment whose spectacular and skilful beating of the Ekwe drum astounded the guests who were pushed unto their feet in applause.
Makin a value added of note was the thunderous bursting of Ara, the diminutive lady who beat the Gangan talking drum as if it was her creation.
Ara which means thunder blasted the talking drum like the fiery portion of Sango with the intent of hitting a flouter of the norm.
But unlike the stone of Sango, Ara’s thunder forced the leather of the dead goat to speak like human to the delight of all.
