Atunda entertainment creates Africa – Turkey Music Amalgamation

Atunda Entertainment, the entertainment power house of Motherland Beckons has scored another first again with the creation of Africa Turkey Music Amalgamation – ATMA. ATMA, a child of creative necessity was borne out of the spectacular event of January 15, 2017 at the official opening of Africa Turkey Trade Centre- ATTC office in Konya, Turkey. The remarkable event, which had the president of MUSIAD and Otunba Wanle Akinboboye in attendance, was also graced by 35 African ambassadors in Turkey, ably led by the dean of diplomatic community in Turkey, the ambassador of Congo Democratic Republic.

Prior to this event, Atunda Entertainment noted for doing the usual things of the entertainment world in an unusual manner had a one-hour rehearsal with   some notable Turkish musicians, this eventually led to a rendition of an admixture of the best of African and Turkish music. This delivery got a 30-minute standing ovation from the distinguished audience. Hence, Otunba Akinboboye, the President of Motherland Beckons and the founder of Atunda Entertainments took a cue from this and in his creative ingenuity created Africa Turkey Music Amalgamation-ATMA.

ATMA, a joyous fusion of the best of African and Turkish music will feature the best of both music delivered to the world in the unusual cosmopolitan manner as exemplified by all the international acts of Atunda Entertainments, Starting from the stunning and acrobatic  ARA( Thunder), the female talking drummer, to the velvet-voiced Adigun Olohun Iyo, elastic diva, Olo Omidan Bata to the delectable beauty queen, Anu Lady Ekwe. It is instructive to note that these acts were only unleashed to the entertainment world after a minimum of four years of rigorous training and grooming, and that they performed in Konya for Turkey and representatives of Africa without taking a dime from the Turkish government. But this has led to a deluge of invitations from Turkey and Europe and a new found romance from a group of Turkish entertainment companies who are ready to market the new form of music round the world. They have also been booked for the Africa Day celebration on May 25, 2017 in Ankara, Turkey. This we believe should serve as a lesson to our budding music stars that to attain global acclaim and stardom, they must be patient, and be ready to make sacrifices in order to fine tune their acts well so that the whole world can see the best of African music in them, rather than a cheap imitation of American and European music.

This annual activation that will feature musical acts from 54 African countries and the Diaspora will no doubt further unite Africa with Turkey, engender friendliness between both worlds and ultimately create wealth and global fame for emerging young acts.
