I want to begin by appreciating the doctors and the entire employees at Asokoro District Hospital, Abuja, for their exceptional services to patients. They are truly doing a wonderful job and I urge them to continue.
However, the unkempt condition of lavatories (restrooms) at the hospital in question impelled the writing of this letter. I visited the hospital recently for my usual medical check up and I realised that the hospital’s lavatories are out of order and need to be fixed.
Nevertheless, most of the facilities in these restrooms have broken down and are not functioning.
Due to that, the floor is always covered with much water, and patients don’t find it easy when they want to make use of the restrooms.
At this point, let me appeal to the management of the Asokoro District Hospital to urgently address this issue for the sake of hygiene and for the sake of patients.
