WIFE of the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor (Mrs) Folu Adeboye, has urged all women irrespective of their status to take time to train their children in the way of the Lord as well as ensure they grow in it.
Mrs Adeboye said this at the Feast of Esther 2020 held recently at the Youth Centre of the RCCG along the Lagos-Ibadan highway.
According to Mrs Adeboye, who is the converner of the programme with the theme, Anointed Forever, all women irrespective of their status should take time to train their children in the way of the Lord as well as ensure they grow in it.
“As anointed women, we should always pray for our husbands as the heads of the family. Our roles as wives are unlimited, especially as anointed women, we are unique. So, it is our responsibility to ensure the consistency of Godliness in our homes and in the lives of our children,” she added.
She also advised women to be sensitive to the promises of God and the test of faith that may come afterwards, adding that “true sensitivity is linked with the holy spirit. That is why it is very important to be baptised in the Holy Ghost.”
Also at the event, the Pastor of House on The Rock, Lagos State, Paul Adefarasin, has charged Christians never to feel threatened despite the many challenges of the country.
