ASUS releases ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition into Nigerian Market

With the launch of its ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition, leading multinational computer and electronics company, ASUS, has reiterated its commitment to providing consumers with amazing gadgets.

The company revealed this during a virtual launch event tagged, “The Incredible Unfolds | CES 2022” which held recently, TMrhe ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition is a super device that is said to have been inspired by the celestial bodies. The design elements of the Zenbook 14X OLED Space Edition are heavily influenced by the history of space travel.

In addition, the launch event showcased Zenbook17 Fold OLED, Zenbook 14 OLED, ASUS Chromebook Flip CX5 and ExpertBook B5 series laptops for empowering consumers and enterprises alike; ProArt Display PA169CDV with Wacom EMR technology for giving interactive experiences to professional creators via ASUS ProArt Pen; and ASUS TUF Gaming F15 and TUF Dash F15 gaming laptops for bringing excellent performance to a broad range of gamers.

Speaking during the launch, Mr Samson Hu, ASUS co-CEO, said; “ASUS has always been about the incredible. We are proud of our ability to offer brilliant solutions to people everywhere, from business users to creators, gamers and more.

Patterned like a MIR Station and morse code, with curved lines representing the celestial capsule, the dots on the cover of the ZenBook 14X has the Latin phrase “Ad Astra Per Aspera”, which means“Through the hardships to the Stars.”

ASUS calls the coverof the Zenbook 14X OLED Space Edition “ZenVision”. It features the exclusive ZenVision display which is inspired by a spaceship’s data sheet. The ZenVision display is a 3.5-inch OLED panel which supports 256 x 64 resolution and 150-nit brightness.

Also speaking during the launch, Rex Lee, ASUS vice-president and Head of Personal Computer BU, stated that ASUS aspires to lead the world with its innovative devices.

According to Lee, “Consumers are becoming increasingly demanding. They demand for high speed and optimal performance, and this is where we come in.”

In line with the space theme, the 2.9-pound ZenBook 14X was said to have passed some Space-Grade standard tests and met the ultra-demanding MIL-STD-810H U.S. military standard for reliability and durability. The laptop can operate stably in environments with a very large temperature difference.

Heat affects performance and in a country like Nigeria where the climate is tropical, the ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition is said to always stay cool. ASUS boasts of an advanced cooling design of the ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition allows the CPU TDP to reach 45W and ensures that the system stays cool and provides maximum performance, anytime and anywhere,”

The ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition features a 14-inch 16:10 OLED touchscreen. The display supports 2880 x 1800 resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate and 0.2 ms response time.

The ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition is powered by the latest generation Intel Core H-series processors paired with up to 32GB LPDDR5 memory and 1TB PCIe 4.0×4 NVMe M.2 SSD, providing users higher computing performance.
