The Association of Radiographers of Nigeria has congratulated the president-elect, Senator Bola Tinubu, on his victory in last weekend’s election.

The association, in a statement signed by its President, Dr Musa Dambele and National Secretary, Dr Samuel Shem, described the former Lagos State governor as the perfect person for the office of the president at this period in the history of Nigeria.

It said: “Your commitment, hard work and dedication which helped you to attain this position are not only an inspiration to young Nigerians but also a manifestation of your good intentions to serve the good people of Nigeria. We have no doubt that you will do just that.

“Your new office is the highest in the land, hence the responsibilities that come with it are enormous and the challenges to face are profound.

“We therefore pray to Almighty to be your strength, to protect you from all harm and to guide your decisions throughout your stay in office.”
