Other results included Sani Sidi former NEMA boss who polled 560 votes, while the former governor of the state Ramalan Yero got 36 votes and a businessman Shuaibu Mikati who scored 16 votes.

It was gathered that 2,654 delegates from the 23 local government areas of the state voted during the primaries.
The primaries which lasted for 23 hours started at exactly 2.57pm on Sunday had all aspirants with their agents and INEC representatives in attendance.
Earlier, some of the aspirants like Mohammed Sani Bello, Jonathan Kish and Bello Kagarko withdrew for the eventual winner of the primaries.
