ASEW announces sixth edition of Africa’s largest social enterprise summit

The African Social Enterprise Workshop (ASEW) has announced the sixth edition of its flagship summit also known as the Sustaining Impact Summit, set to occur in multiple African cities.

The African Social Enterprise Workshop (ASEW) is a technical support platform for African social enterprises, using interactive workshops as a medium of engagement.

This year’s event promises to be the biggest and most impactful yet, bringing together social entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and change-makers across the continent.

With a focus on empowering social entrepreneurs and fostering sustainable development, ASEW 2024 will offer a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration.

The summit will feature keynote addresses from industry leaders, panel discussions on pressing social issues, and interactive workshops designed to equip attendees with the tools and resources they need to succeed.

“We are excited to host the sixth edition of ASEW and continue our mission of supporting social entrepreneurs in Africa,” said, Dr Adeyemi Adelekan, Director, African Social Enterprise Workshop.

“This year’s summit will be a catalyst for innovation and impact, as we bring together a diverse community of impact-focused organisations to address the continent’s most pressing challenges.”

The ASEW Sustainable Impact summit is a hybrid event, which will take place virtually on August 29 with panel discussions and presentations on the first day and onsite masterclasses in Abuja, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Cote d’Ivoire, Zambia, and Tunisia on August 30.
