As NBA prepares for election in Ibadan

Ibadan-based lawyers set to elect a new chairman. Two senior Ibadan-based legal icons; Alhaji Adekola Kareem and Alhaji Ibrahim Lawal are jostling for the position of Ibadan bar chairman. The outgoing NBA administration under the leadership of Barrister Aladeniyi has done its best and succeeded in getting rid of roadside typists who have been preparing lawyer’s documents. The NBA has been responding to lawyers’ plight and it has not stopped in tackling obstacles facing Nigerian lawyers. I give kudos to the management at both national and state levels.

I want to urge lawyers to maintain decorum on the election day and also use this medium to inform whoever that emerges as the new Ibadan bar chairman to begin to give free diary to those who have paid their bar practicing fee with the branch dues.
