Armed Forces Remembrance Day: Ajimobi charges security agencies, Nigerians on sacrifice

Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State has urged Nigerians and security agencies to continue to sacrifice for the peace, progress and sustainable development of the country.

He made this call after the laying of wreaths to mark this year’s Armed Forces Remembrance Day, held at the Remembrance Arcade, Agodi, Ibadan, on Tuesday.

Ajimobi noted that the sacrifice would engender the conduct of free and fair polls during this year’s general elections.

“The officers should continue to protect the nation to ensure that the territorial integrity of Nigeria is maintained in all ramifications.

“Let us unite ourselves, make sure we continue to sacrifice for Nigeria and in sacrificing for Nigeria, we maintain tranquillity, progress and sustain development,” Ajimobi said.
