Arewa group commends Tinubu over foodstuff price crash

The Coalition of Arewa Civil Society Groups (CSCSG) has commended President Bola Tinubu for his efforts in reducing the prices of food items during the recent Ramadan period.

The group criticized individuals who believe that the drop in food prices has negatively impacted farmers, claiming that such viewpoints are influenced by profiteers, hoarders, and greedy middlemen who buy, stock, and warehouse grains for their own gain.

This statement was released by the Coalition of Arewa Civil Society Groups, signed by the Secretary of the group, Comrade Auwal Shuaibu, during the annual Eid El Fitr Roundtable.

A copy of the statement was made available to the press on Wednesday in Kano, Shuaibu emphasized that the significant reduction in food prices under the Tinubu administration is commendable and has provided immense relief, rekindling hope across the country.

“So, for the Tinubu administration, this significant milestone of crash in prices of foodstuffs is commendable.
