Aregbesola applauded over inauguration of board of herbal practitioners

Published by

The National President, United Herbal Practitioners, Mr Sakariyau Oyedeji, has commended the Osun State governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola, for the constitution of the Board of Traditional Medical Practitioners in the state.

Oyedeji made the commendation in a statement issued and made available to the Nigerian Tribune.

He said that the constitution of the board was germane to the safety of lives of the people of the state.

He noted that the association required a functional and efficient website to create awareness on the association’s activities as well as online consultation page, adding that this would generate more revenue for the state government.

He said: “Having a website will give the body the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of medical engagements such as consultation, training, exhibition, publication, seminar, conference and symposium.

“It is an avenue for us to teach traditional herbal education and orientation, while  seeking for government’s authorisation in promoting indigenous healing.”
