Appointment of Nentawe, recognition for loyalty — Plateau APC

Published by

Plateau State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress considers the appointment of its former governorship candidate, Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, as a reward and recognition for loyalty and hard work.

The party, in a statement signed by its State Publicity Secretary, Shittu Bamaiyi, said the APC believes that President Ahmed Tinubu meticulously chose Dr Nentawe based on his rich credentials, comportment, pedigree, and strength of character, among other considerations.

“Undoubtedly, the epoch-making appointment is well deserved and also seen as an honour not only to Dr. Nentawe alone, but the entire APC family as well as the people of Plateau State.

“Furthermore, the APC on the Plateau considers the appointment of Dr Nentawe as the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation as a reward for the loyalty and support the Party’s supporters have been showing to President Ahmed Tinubu.

“More to it is the fact that the ministerial appointment, apart from serving as a moral booster, is reassuring and fulfilling to the APC supporters in their continued faith and loyalty in the Tinubu government.”

It therefore thanked President Tinubu for choosing Dr. Nentawe to head the important ministry and expressed the belief that he will justify the confidence reposed in him by bringing to bear his wealth of experience as an academic and administrator in the new office.

The party in the state and its supporters assured President Tinubu of their unalloyed support in making him succeed in moving the country forward.
