Ikor, 20, of Idu Village, Abuja, pleaded not guilty to a three-count charge of abduction, unlawful marriage and nuisance.
The prosecutor, Zannah Dalhatu, told the court that one Emmanuel Joseph of Angwan Shehu Village Karmo, reported the matter at the Karmo Police Station, on April 16.
Dalhatu said the complainant alleged that on April 15 the defendant deceitfully induced and abducted his 15-year-old daughter, without his consent.
He said the defendant allegedly had canal knowledge of her, and that during police investigation it was revealed the defendant had been arrested on several occasions and warned to desist from crime bet he continued.
Dalhatu said the victim was undergoing a medical examination.
The prosecutor also said the offence contravened Sections 273, 388 and 199 of the Penal Code.
However, the defendant denied committing the offences.
The judge, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq granted him bail in the sum of N30, 000 and a surety in like sum.
Sadiq said the surety must be a Grade Level 09 Officer in the Federal Civil Service and adjourned the case till May 21, for hearing.
