“The leadership demonstrated by the Commission, under the guidance of its Chairman, has been pivotal in preparing for these critical polls,” noted Barr. Ezeokenwa. “Their commitment to excellence reassures us of the integrity of the electoral process.”

The APGA National Chairman urged INEC to remain undeterred by any potential distractions that might jeopardize their efforts. He emphasized the importance of continuous improvement in the electoral process and the seamless deployment of the necessary technology to support the forthcoming Edo and Ondo elections.

Barr. Ezeokenwa commended the Commission for ensuring the routine convening of the Consultative meeting with leaders of political parties in Nigeria. He highlighted the significance of these meetings in fostering a cordial relationship between political parties and the Commission, which is essential for deepening democratic ideals in the nation’s polity.

A key focus of the discussion at the meeting was on assessing the readiness of INEC to conduct the gubernatorial elections slated for September and November in Edo and Ondo states, respectively.

Ezeokenwa reassured that APGA supports INEC’s endeavours to sustain and enhance the democratic process in Nigeria.
