​APC zonal youth leader aspirant vows to fight for youth interests

An aspirant for the All Progressives Congress (APC) South-West Zonal Youth Leader position, Engr Muritala Audu, has vowed to fight for the interests of youths in the party​ and in politics in general.

Audu stated this when he declared his intention to contest for the national office during a meeting with party members and supporters at his ward in Ogijo, Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State.

He solicited the prayers and support of party members who converged on the ​​Ile Oba Ogijo, the Sagamu LG ward 10 APC Secretariat for the actualisation of his mandate as the party’s youth leader.

​If elected, Audu said he’s going to prioritise the fight for the youth being his primary constituency in the party, adding that he will not neglect the party members and leaders in the local government.​

Speaking before the APC flag and symbol was handed over to him, APC Chairman in the LG, Hon Rafiu Opaleye expressed happiness that a vibrant youth from his LG has indicated an interest in the position, adding that Audu has paid his dues in the party, especially in Ward 10 Ogijo zone 3 Sagamu LG.

​One of the party leaders in the LG, Oseni noted that Audu is a young man who is equipped with the ​knowledge and capacity to lead the youth in the South-West region.

​”​Engineer Muritala is a young man who is never disconnected from national leaders of our party APC,”​ he stressed​ and​ urged the youth to stand up and support him.​

​Other party leaders at the event include the Secretary to Sagamu LG (also known as ​Penetrator); LG Supervisor, ​​Hon Ghazal; former Caretaker Chairman Sagamu LG, Hon Lola Awoniyi; Alhaji Sanni; Leader Animashaun, Hon Adenuga.
